THIS Mod does NOT work under "War of the Chosen"! As the new DLC comes with a huge change to file and folder structure and brings it's own set's of INI files![/'b]

Use Central, Shen and Tygans Skins for your soldiers!

I made those skins workable back in Feb. 2016 ( -> https://youtu.be/ffB1f7gitIs ) but I failed to wrap it into a mod that can be downloaded and activated.

Now: 1 year later I finally provide the mod that goes alongside my video. No longer will you need to manually include the lines into your INI files!

Also included, because I need that for myself are some special soldier heads, Skyranger Staff and Jane skins.

Sadly my VIP skins caused all / most soldiers to have funny looking animations during the 1st mission! I took them out again. Should you still experience funny running / weapon animations feel free to make a screenshot / video and report it. But from the 2nd mission on, those errors shouldn't show up again.

If YOU don't need or want the Super Soldier heads (Sid Meier, Beaglerush, VanDoorn) go to:
...Steam\SteamApps\workshop\content\268500\855972967\Config\XComContent.ini

Erase the super soldier lines (1 to 14) and save. Next time you run those extra Super Soldier Heads will not be loaded into the game by my mod.

If you like to use the VIP skins, go to and remove the " ; " from lines 57 to 65. But bewarned, that this will causes animation problems during the gatecrusher mission. Afterwards, all looks fine!

Just added it randomly to my WOTC mod collection. Works fine. Bradfords arms didn't quite line up but another cosmetic could cover it up with some kinda vest/straps.

That's fine. I'll just use these the next time I play LW2, assuming it works with LW2. (I don't see why not?)

@TripleExit no sorry I didn't. Back when I was working on it, I was unable to locate the right files. I'm at the moment not actively modding XCOM 2.

@Monthly Deplorable that looks cool! I think I'll get it for my own Tygan :D
As for the permission of course, after all it's not my game, nor my original assets to begin with. I just unlooked them so I can use them for myself.
