Info Cube

Description
This is a tool for helping with table layout and creation. It prints information on an item to the Notes, so you can easily copy/paste it. It can print Position, Rotation, Scale, Tint, Tag and Custom Model data. It can create that data with/without the keys (XYZ/RGB) and with/without a space after each line. You also control to what digit place it rounds.

How do I work this damn thing?
The circles you see on the top of the box are buttons. You can click the circle within a circle to enable/disable a setting. The + and - buttons increase/decrease the number of decimal places it will round numbers to. Once you have it set to display the data you want, in the way you want it, just copy the GUID of the target object and paste it into the description of Info Cube.
That's it!

I made this to help myself in my various projects. It can be annoying to try to get positions and such individually without something like this, and this is my preferred method of handling it. So, if you would like to thank you for my vast selfishness, give me money. I will waste it on video games.

Ah, damn. Oh well, this is still a pretty cool tool; nice work!

I do not think so. Custom decks aren't in the Custom Objects area of the Knowledge Base (yet to be implimented) so I am pretty sure using getCustomObject on a custom card goes nothing.

Would it be possible for this to give information on custom decks? Front/back image links, all that?

There are 2 great tools for that. One is a brag, because I made it: Gizmo Buddy . It lets you set position/rotation/scale. The others values can already be tweeked via the context menu.

The other is Easy Object Editor by Markimus. It does the same thing as Gizmo buddy, but he did it first, and all the values are worked directly on the notecard. It is a fine tool and many will like it more than Gizmo Buddy. I just have my own personal preferences when it comes to that sort of tool so I made one that would be in step with how I prefer to do things. His is probably more functional. =)

Looks interesting. What would be awesome is to be able to set those values, too. Then people could line things up perfectly, round the numbers how they wish, and make minor tweaks to properties that are pretty much impossible to do so otherwise...

Its mainly used for scripting, I'll bet. For me, I my need to sent the tint of an object using a script but I don't have that thint. This makes it easy to locate, just pop the GUID of the object into the tool's descripting (right click, buttom of context menu) and viola

I don't get it.
