gm_Leigh_St_Giles (Salop)

This was made from the shortcoming of another project, so welcome to Leigh St Giles, a small but delightful village in Shropshire, one of the most splendid counties in England. Located in Northern Shropshire, near to the towns of Wem and Market Drayton, but lying 8 miles from the border with Staffordshire, this village has a few things to offer for it's size. The population is about 150 people.

The Manor House - The main feature of map, although not as big as it once was because of Victorian Rebuilds, it was once owned by the Duke of Stafford in the 18th century, but now, the 3 floor manor is yours to move into. It contains some surprises but be sure to have a look.
St Giles' Church - The 13th century parish Church of the village, giving the name to the village, it includes some beautiful stained glass windows, the pews have all been replaced with chairs. It also contains a single manual Abbott and Smith Pipe Organ, and the bells that can be rung (fun fact: The sound of the bells are actually the sound of my own church's bells)
The Pub - Yes, you know what exactly to do here, have fun, it was named one of the best pubs in Northern Shropshire!
Village Hall - Host your own events, parish council meetings and whatnot.
