HangarOpener: Sender

Description
Heyo SE-Friends

Are you tired of having to hop out of your ship to physically open the Hangar doors?

this script will do it FOR you!

Setup:
1. Download the Receiver and Sender script
2. Put the Receiver Script inside of your Programmable Block in your base.
3. Setup a antenna on your base. (You can also have multiple to cover more area, for example at each gate)
4. Assign the programmable block to the antenna
5. Create groups for your Hangar doors starting with "HD_"
For example I have 2 Groups: HD_Door1 and HD_Door2
6. After that, when in the ship, drag the Programmable block to your Toolbar and set it to "Run"

That's it!

Please provide feedback, so I can make it easier or simpler to understand

I'm glad to say it works perfectly. Although, just to let others know, it seems if you have more than one Sender block turned On, none of them work. To work around that, I just be sure to include the program blocks in the Groups I make to power down certain ship components for when I'm done using a ship.

@Zauron - Thanks for the feedback :) I made this script a while ago, that's why I thought it could be outdated.
The handling with command blocks and antennas might have changed in the time I haven't played that game.
I will have a look into the suggestion you have :)

You should also include the part that tripped me up for a minute, the steps to setup your ship's block: build a programmable block on your ship(s) and assign it to your ship's antenna with Sender script active, run the program (not sure if you have to initially since you do that in your toolbar, but I did), then drag your ship's programmable block to its toolbar with the setting of 'Run Default Argument' (not just Run, cause it asks you to input an argument...unnecessary directions to tell people they don't have to type anything and just hit Confirm to make the Run option work).

Thanks again for this script!

This...my friend...is a brilliant mod! The only feedback I have is to include more detailed directions for dummies like me, took me 15 minutes to fill in the gaps to figure it out. Other people may have given up on this script after exactly following those directions and not getting it to work, thinking it's outdated. I would include: 'and click Run' to the end of number 2. New people to scripts might miss that easy step, lol.

It takes the first hangar door as reference of the group

oh..ok i play around with it, something to trigger the air cycle i haqve to come up with then... does it count antenna as point of reference or the door group itself?

I searched around for other remoty scripts but found none, if it could tricker an program block or timer it would be perfect, My scripting is as said so bad i got nowhere (wouldnt know where to look for the proper commands x.x Right now it only helps me venting my whole hangar >.<

The button which you activate the script with is opening the door that you are the closest to, so it should work if you make the "airlock" big enough. The script needs cutomization for that air-pressurizing tho.

how do i set up air cyclyng with this? I have outer and inner doors ad an air tank with two vents. I tried to make the remote start an timer instead the door directly but my scripting is quite lousy.

My idea was to hit the "remote button" fly into the airlock, wait for it to cycle, fly into hangar.

The sender is for the ship, and the receiver for the station.
