Bioshock Remastered Rapture Intro looped 21:9 3440x1440 60fps

Soya, I’m not sure if I understand you right and if your idea goes into the same direction but I’ve found yesterday a solution for my system:
In wallpaper engine SETTINGS, GENERAL, MEDIA, VIDEO FRAMEWORK: changing from Prefer Media Foundation to PREFER DIRECT SHOW LAV and everything was fine.
After this I uninstalled the K-Lite codec and the wallpapers won’t work anymore so the K-Lite codec pack installation is necessary in my case.
I'm glad not to give up and without your help I couldn’t smile right now.

Another thing that I could suggest is to try the video file directly via windows media player or MPC. Every video wallpaper you install is DL into a folder somewhere under the Wallpaper Engine, there is an actual video file associated with each video wallpaper creation. You could try and see these files would play as a normal video and is viewable and watchable. You could also try different sources, other users of 3440x1440 video wallpapers and see if they work. WIth some luck it is simply a process of elimination. GL.

It was not the codec, I tried it, what a pitty.
But thanks a lot for your quick response to my question and the idea.
I know the link and the discussions, but found nothing that helps.

@8bar: My best guess would be that you are missing certain video codecs. Try installing a version of K-lite here https://www.codecguide.com/download_kl.htm . If that does not solve it I am not sure what it could be. You could check this link https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/app/431960/discussions/2/348292787747453462/ . Best of luck.

Thanks a lot for making such cool things and sharing them Soya.
Unfortunately I couldn’t see them, I just can hear the sound, but the scene is not changing, without blackscreen.
Of course I was reading the faqs and tried a lot like installing newest drivers for the graphic card and updating windows.
Have you maybe got an idea why these wallapapers aren`t running on my system or what else to try?

My Desktop PC:
Windows 8.1 Pro 64bit (newest updates)
AMD Phenom II X4 955 Processor
Samsung 34” Curved Monitor, resolution: 3440 x 1440
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 graphic (newest driver 390.77)
In the NVIDIA Control Panel under manage 3D settings I do not have the opportunity to select a graphics processor.
