Take your Time Legacy is no longer supported!
Please use Take your Time Ultimate and select x5 Base Tech Cost in Advanced Options.

Ultimate also has options for further cost scaling based on era, and the ability to tweak boost percentages.

Ultimate also fixes many bugs that crept up over the years such as Buttress and techs and civics from the future era not receiving a cost increase, while Legacy can only be feasibly used in vanilla Civ 6.

G&S didn't break this mod, the mod was incomplete and required more than just CompatibleVersions being added.
Please see my version, thanks to the community of modders as I have resolved the issue. Thank you.

Guys wanting an update to this mod, I just had a look at its code and it's literally a single line in an SQL file, so I very much doubt that it actually needs an update in order to be compatible with GS. My thinking is it's getting a false compatibility flag from that new function added with GS. To fix that follow these instructions, using a program like Notepad++ to make it easier for yourself:

You probably need to add this code in the <Properties> area in .modinfo, so the mod doesn't get flagged as incompatible:
<CompatibleVersions>1.2,2.0</CompatibleVersions>

I believe the 1.2 in the code means it is backwards compatible. I notice some mods just have 2.0, but a lot have the 1.2,2.0. I assume to be backwards compatible for players who don't have GS.

looks like the owner cant be bothered updating this.. what a shame these mods should be some of the very best for civ 6. maybe someone who cares could take it over and fix them

These mods really really really really really need an update.

I hope someone other than the mod maker sees this, and takes over the job.

I´d say this set of mods is essential, please do a R&F version or recruit someone to carry on your work joshman. I play on marathon plus the 5x times on tech and civics, great fun, gives times for the early game wars etc., but I noticed in R&F that my tech times had reverted to originals or something after the first save and the mod was no longer listed among those used by the save, so suddenly all techs etc are 1 turn or so with my massive boosted empire (they used to be tens of turns with your mod active) :-D
