Valley (WIP)

Description
A WIP Invasion map featuring the Commonwealth (attacking) and Germans (defending). Supports at least up to 40 players.

Ally tanks encounter Axis forces in a valley in Europe. The Germans bomb them, stopping their tanks and preventing the Commonwealth from proceeding. The Allies must now fight their way up the hills and destroy the German outpost.

Play by playing the map "valley_b7" on the invasion gamemode!

(Working title, might be changed later)

Tips:
  • Air support is key, especially as Axis. Carpet bombs are most useful for stopping reinforcements.
  • It can be hard to see the enemies at times, so use explosives and cover to your advantage.

Known issues/unfinished parts:
  • Minor lighting bugs
  • Placeholder textures in certain areas
  • Nothing in the skybox yet, so it looks like the map just ends abruptly on the edges
  • No soundscapes yet (though some sounds)
  • Overall needs more detail; It's a work in progress.

This is a very good map. Good for long range engagements, fire support and 16x16 battles. Works perfectly with offline w/ bots. Thanks for the awsome map!

Hey, I've updated it finally. It should support units now!

I'll probably update the map again soon to make it look a bit better and fix some minor bugs, so let me know if you run into any problems.

Just released the first update! I plan to make a few more eventually. Thanks for the feedback!!

(by the way, the map file name changed so now type valley_b6 for the mapname, not valley_b4. this will be included in the description whenever an update changes the name.)

Yep, the map is great for rifles! I think it has enough bushes and such already but I'll see if I can add some more tall grass.
