Borgerkrigen, 1157 (The Danish Civil War, 1157)

Description
INSTALLATION AND PLAYING THE GAME IN DANISH!
Place the 'Borgerkrigen, 1157' folder in the Modules folder of your Mount & Blade Warband folder (default: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\MountBlade Warband\Modules).

Navigate to the 'languages' folder of the Borgerkrigen, 1157 folder, and find the 'da' folder. Copy (but don't move) this folder into the 'languages' folder of the main Mount & Blade Warband folder.

Find the 'Mount & Blade Warband' folder in your Documents folder, and edit the 'languages' text file. Change 'en' to 'da' and save.

Enjoy.

Welcome to the Danish Civil War of 1157.

The realm is split between three kings: Svend of Scania, Knud of Zealand, and Valdemar of Jutland.
Each is convinced he is in the right, and battle for the fate of the country is inevitable. Surrounding this bitter conflict, other realms begin to stur. To the south the two German realms of Saxony and Pomerania greedily eye the opportunity to grab new lands for the Holy Roman Empire, and to the north-east the Kingdom of Sweden is itching to use the opportunity to increase power in the region.

- Entirely new strategic map spanning from Gotland to Saxony, from the North Sea to Western Poland.

- Six entirely new factions with all new units, characters and family trees.

- All new companions with individual backstories and motivations

- Hundreds of brand new towns, castles and villages - many of which are based on actual historical and geographical facts regarding the respective locations.

Honestly love this mod, don't mind there not being any diplomacy stuff modded in... far more impressed with the scenery & coloured armoury!

Genuinely thank you for making this mod, don't think there's barely any mods out there that focus on middle ages Scandinavia (and upper Germany)!

Probably not. I am too busy being a dad these days to even consider working on a project like this again - especially considering the fact that I made it all on my own.

Will this ever have diplomacy/freelancer added? Would easily be one of the best warband mods ever if it just had some of the quality of life features added

Good mod but the infantry being armed with rocks ruins the combat since the AI will ALWAYS stand there and watch the rest of their friends getting slaughtered while throwing rocks. What a terrible idea.

The mod is built on Native, so only mechanics from the original game are in the mod. :)

Is becoming a mercenary in this mod disabled or something? I've been asking for quests in every faction and I didn't get option to get hired even once.
