1. Subscribe "Static Background ON!" mod to enable the static background function:

2.Run Codename:CURE to see if that mod works ,by default your background will be turned into a missing texture.
3.Exit the game.
4.Go to the custom folder in your game folder, it might be "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Codename CURE\cure\custom" for example.
5.Download this file:

6.Decompress cure_bg.zip into "custom" folder
7.Run Codename:CURE to see if that mod works, your background should be a Resident Evil/Biohazard 7 picture now.
8.Exit the game.
9.Download VTFedit from its official website and open it:

10.In VTFedit, click File>Open. go to the custom folder, then open cure_bg\materials\console\background.vtf
11.Clike File>Import, and select a picture you like, click "OK" the in the pop-up window
12.Clike File>Save, just replace the vtf file you opened
13.Do the same thing for background_widescreen.vtf
14.Run Codename:CURE to see if your mod works
15.Edit cure_bg\cfg\bginfo.cfg with Windows Notepad( or Noetepad++ if you like) to write some information about this mod.
16.Rename cure_bg as you like
17.Upload it like other mods! Remember to set "Static Background ON!" mod as a required item or your mod won't work.
