Description
(v2.16) Introducing the Ruby Engine! High power, and medium efficiency fuel engines.

Designed for Cruisers, Battleships, and other power hogs:

5x5x10 Ruby Engine (10,750 power):
100% PpF = 345 (31.1 fps)
50% PpF = 415 (13 fps)
10% PpF = 493 (2.2 fps)

5x5x20 Double Ruby Engine (22,700 power):
100% PpF = 335 (67.8 fps)
50% PpF = 402 (28.2 fps)
10% PpF = 478 (4.7 fps)

5x5x14 Ruby Emerald Engine (13,750 power):
100% PpF = 405 (33.9 fps)
50% PpF = 487 (14.1 fps)
10% PpF = 579 (2.4 fps)

The pipes on these engines have been colored to help understand how the engine works. The Green pipes gather gas from cylinders and once enough gas has been gathered to max out turbo bonuses, the Blue pipes route the gas in to the chain of turbos, and Red is the exhaust exit point.

Connect the red exhaust exit point to an externally connected pipe for full performance.

For high efficiency engines, please see the Emerald Engines: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=862257160

As always, any constructive feedback or questions are welcome. Check out my other uploads at: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/id/Mortazel/myworkshopfiles/?appid=268650

A big thank you to the people who liked and/or favorited these engines!

Have fun!

Its all so clear now! thanks helping us noobs out with these tutorial blueprints. Lowkey there needs to be a way to reskin the tubrocharget to make it less confusing to look at. For example the white part has an extra opening which is useless. It would be nice to use a simplified model for to give easier insight into Fuel Engines

Sounds like you've got it - also ensure you have enough exhaust flowing through the turbocharges to give them max bonuses. Have fun!

Ok so i tried studying the design so i dont have to use them anymore and just now i realise that inline turbos exist and that turbos give carburettors an efficiency bonus when exhausts are flowing thru.... am woke

You're welcome - glad to hear they've been useful for you! BTW, your ships designs are really nice - keep up the great work!

Thanks for this, your engines power all of my designs!

I vented it internally works great, but it has second priority in a 75k power system so rarely gets pushed to limit, but even at limit it never actually overheated, I guess it will eventually overheat

lol

I was going to call them the RandomNOOBY engines, but shortened it to Ruby. ;)
