The Slot Machine

Descripción
A giant slot machine looms before you..

Press the pedestal button. In the first slot on the other side of the room, either a cube or a sphere will fall. Press the button again to activate the next slot. If you line up three of a kind, you're free to go. If not, then press the button again to reset the mechanism. It may take you one attempt, or you may not be succesful at all (you probably will be, though). Good luck :)

For anybody wondering, this chamber operates using two mechanisms. The first one is the randomizer (one per slot), which I designed. You can find that in my workshop. The other mechanism is a modified version of the toggling system designed by Timoteeei. The pulse generator that I used for it was first incorporated into this design (but not invented by) Cyron43. You can check the whole thing out with noclip.

UPDATE: Brought this one back on (was not working due to glitch). Made some minor lighting edits, and fully covered the slots with glass.

carl.kenner's mod will break the item limit, so I'm looking forward to that.

UPDATE: Based on what Geneosis said below, I've changed the pedestal button connection to "signage". This required me to sacrifice one of my observation rooms. It's no big deal, but it certainly demonstrates how close this is to the item limit.

Glad you liked it :) I would have left the connection visible for the pedestal button (getting rid of connection symbols erases the "timer" sound), it's just that I needed to save as many entities as possible. Cube droppers use a crazy amount of items (especially when you need nine of them).

Wow, the mechanism seems waaay better than before :p Tooks me a moment to think about pressing the button multiple time anyway X)

MAJOR UPDATE: Completely redesigned. The mechanism is now better and more random, one slot is activated at a time, no more stupid cubes "coin slot" crap, and only three slots.

Not really... Whatever, I guess I'll have to stick with that damn item limit for now. Thanks for trying to help, though :)
