Bloodier Battles Pack
2 items
Description
Combatible with 1.5.2

This mod rebalances units, combat, and other factos to make wars produce more casualties.

However, equipment is also balanced to not be too affected by the extra combat losses.

Manpower will be much more precious and fleeting.

Compatible with Expert AI mod

The original version without the compatibility patch can be found in the mod pack this belong to.

@bendy, it affects all units regardless of country and does not affect AI behavior

does this effect AI too?

@themidnightfoundation Thank you for you the praise. Your two concerns are absolutely valid and actually were some of my top concerns, among a few others, for the next update.

As for compatability, I still haven't figured that out yet, but the way the expansion changes manpower andl laws will help with my improvements so please stay tuned :)

This mod has absolutely amazing potential; there arejust a couple of things holding it back:

1) Mod compatibility is poor. Some of this is inherent to the goal of the mod, but some of the incompatibility would be easily fixed by following the guidelines for making a mod community friendly mod.

2) The Conscription Law cost being lowered to 1 PP is just dumb. The AI will almost immediately switch to Scraping the Barrel, and then the mod loses most of its appeal because manpower quantity is so staggeringly high that it doesn't matter how many divisions you kill - there will always be more. The costs should remain the same, perhaps with some tweaking of what the laws actually do to further complement the mod.
