--- Overview ---
The area has fallen to the enemy, and it is up to you to take it back. Embark with your teammates on a persistent campaign that will span several weeks of real time to liberate all the major cities of the area.

- Experience a massive “Capture the Island” campaign involving a large range of different settlements across the entire area.
- Cooperate with up to 34 players, including a Commanding role, two fire-team squads, a medevac and a logistical support squad as well as AI recruits to fill the gaps.
- Purchase both infantry and vehicles (both ground and air) using three different types of physical resources; supplies, ammunition and fuel.
- Build the FOB of your dreams with an in-game "what you see is what you get" system.
- Play within an immersive engine that not only punishes you for civilian casualty but diversely reacts in turn.
- Combat aggressive and cunning hostile forces who react and adapt to your actions.
- Monitor and work alongside, or against, independent guerrilla forces.
- Learn that every window is a threat thanks to the custom urban combat AI.
- Accomplish meaningful secondary objectives that will benefit your progression.
- Never lose your progress with the built-in server-side save system.

Is there a guide where I can learn step by step how to make new liberation maps? I want to make a new up to date one on a different map.

Hey does anyone have an idea for why the chinook that is supposed to spawn on the carrier is not spawning for me. I have looked everyone and can't find a reason. Any help is appreciated!

For anyone having issues with the arsenal not showing items and dont wanna have to download it from the github...When you're at role selection go to parameters and just under the weapon sway option it'll say Arsenal. You click that and set it to no restrictions. This will put all vanilla and modded items/weapons/clothes into the arsenal for you to use again

Just enable the weapons lol, you can set no restrictions and then it works, under parameters

A shame this is broken. I shouldn't have to go to another website and download something just to make this mod work. Embarrassing.

Who have "naked" soldier in game start and cant acess loadout you need to download mod from github. You will have inside mod zip file "Missionbasefiles" folder, open it, copy "kp_liberation.Altis" into folder "Arma3"->"MPmissions". Then Open mod zip file again, find "Missionframework" folder and copy what inside this folder into "kp_liberation.Altis" folder. I hope its will help someone, because I didnt find instruction how to install mod from github. You can also use "kp_liberation_config.txt" inside "kp_liberation.Altis" folder to configurate what presets and sides of conflict will be in mission.

no virtual items alright with everyones advice i think i have fixed it so that is great news thanks everyone in case anyone is a total noob at modding arma like me you have to download this https://github.com/KillahPotatoes/KP-Liberation/commit/749e8503ecf57f55477a336e35f062318aed782d#diff-83d5fa7a5c63b5ebc7d4584f8fcfdf3c7f83d2281db15eaccf4381d5f391ed99 once its downloaded from the github and follow this file path (if on steam) C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Arma 3\MPMissions\kp_liberation.altis\scripts\client\misc to get to the arsenal script then just drag and drop the updated file from the download.

Now make sure you also download the master file from the github as its the most up to date one. this update was applied 5 months ago. if you are modding your units and such you would place your modded folder in your MP missions but if you download the master you will need to drop it into the MP missions folder as well
