Cities Skylines Police - Ford Mondeo

Description


This is the my new idea of creating a real Cities Skylines Police Corp.

This model is the Ford Mondeo, for all my USA friends :) re texture and adapted for the best quality/performance.
The Ford can be a good all around purpose vehicle for the Police, allowing them at the same time to patrol and engage in pursues as well.

LOD Tris: 126



I hope you can enjoy this as much as I do.
The car in game still look much better than the vanilla one and the performance is almost identical.

I made a lot of effort to achieve this small collection, so I would love if you leave me a thumbs up :)

@Appletini the mondeo isnt europe only, its sold as the fusion in some places for some reason

@SonOfNitrous remember there is also the prop version in the download, which means it takes more place.

Trouble is with the filesize.what texture resolution do you use and what format? It seems that asset can occupy quite too much video memory than it can/should.
Tris count up to 4k is absolutely OK.

@Rino No I don't think they are heavy for what they look. I think you will have the car at LOD most of the time, since you don't play first person, and the tris of the LOD are super low.

Да, не спорю что работа нормальная, но Вы смотрели их параметры. Если нет, то посмотрите вот этим модом в игре Mesh Info, и сразу будет ясно что эти машинки какую дают нагрузку. Но всё равно спасибо за работу.

Oh yeah, I get that, it just makes sense to me that a border patrol would use more offroad vehicles than a highway patrol, lol.

@Appletini keep in mind this is a fictional police, what exists just in game, so yeah, I wanna do something cool, even if it does not exists in US or Europe. But highway patrol sounds good, I guess they are badass :)
