Yakuza Tattoos Of Potema

Description
Yakuza Tattoos Of Potema 3.5

This mod adds 3 player only enchanted tattoos for the following races using default bodies, Argonian, Breton, DarkElf, HighElf, Imperial, Nord, Orc, Redguard, and WoodElf. Khajiit are not supported at this time

Only the player character will use these textures, all other NPCs will have normal skin

***Latest Skyrim official patch is required or the scripts in this mod might not work.***

Location - Wolfskull cave

- The tattoos can be given to your existing character by activating the Yakuza tattoo activators in the Hall of the Yakuza in Wolfskull cave.

- The two chests in the Hall are non-respawning so should be safe.

- You can remove the enchantments and keep the tattoos by using the spell washer (wash basin) to the left of the fireplace in the Hall of the Yakuza.

- You can also choose to play the Yakuza Races at the start of the game, and change to a different tattoo set or remove the tattoos at any time during the game by using the activators in the Hall of the Yakuza.

When you select a tattoo you will be given new powers and abilities
- the Warrior tattoo will give you an armor rating of 10 starting at level 5 and increase by 10 every 5 levels to a maximum rating of 100, this is in addition to what ever armor you are wearing. While you are wearing the warrior tattoos your combat skills will improve 20% faster.

- the Mage tattoo will fortify magicka +100, resist damage 20, and magic skills will improve 20% faster.

- the Thief tattoo will fortify sneak +15, fortify carry weight +100, and stealth skills will improve 20% faster

If you do not want the enchantments you can remove them using the spell washer.

---------------------------------------------------------

AlienSlof has adapted the warrior tattoo texture to be compatible with both Sundracon's and FavoredSoul's male bodies. If you do a google search for “AlienSlof tattooed races” you will find them.

CBBE female textures can be downloaded from SkyrimNexus[www.skyrim.nexusmods.com]

Incompatibility
===============
The Tattoo activators will not work with custom races from other mods.

Known Issues or Bugs
====================
If you get the tattoos after you get the beast form spell you will loose your tattoos after changing to a werewolf. The same will also happen when changing to a Vampire Lord. If you get the tattoos first then you will not loose them, but if you change your tattoos then you will revert to the tattoos you had before you got the beast form spell. You can always get the tattoos back by using the activators in the Hall of the Yakuza.

Freezing and or loss of sound can happen if you over use the activators too often in too short a period of time. If game freezes reboot. If you loose sound, completely exit the game (exit to desktop) and then reload game.

Changes in the 3.5 version
===================

- added Argonian tattoos

- all tattoos now playable from beginning of game

- added spell washer that will remove enchantments from tattoos for those who only want the tattoos. The spell washer is the wash basin to the left side of the fireplace in the Hall of the Yakuza

- added description of enchantments to character creation menu

- you can now sleep or wait in the Hall of the Yakuza

- added some special FX

Expected Questions
===============
Q: Will the powers stack with the Mage, Warrior, and Thief stones powers?
A: In my testing they do stack

Q: Why call it Yakuza and what does it have to do with Potema?
A: For me Yakuza is a foreign language word and sounds exotic, and since I don't speak that language it could mean almost anything I want it to. If you pronounce it with an Icelandic accent it fits in nicely. As for Potema, if you read The WolfQueen Vol. 8 it tells of the last days of Potema when she was fighting a losing war. At the end all she had left were skeletons, zombies, and vampires. The story of the Yakuza is that they were an army of the undead. They were bound to this world by the dark powers of their tattoos which prevented their souls from moving on, and of course they were bound to Potema as they were the "Undead Army of Potema". Much of this will be explained in the quest if I ever finish it and release it.

Things to Do

I have a good idea for a future unbalanced/easter egg tattoo if this is still developed:
The Dojima Dragonborn: Gives the user unparalleled strength. (Uses a bar depending on what potion is consumed to activate it) (A man bearing another legendary tattoo might appear unexpectedly, and it can happen everywhere. Keep on your toes, old friend.)
I can go more into detail. I haven't tried this mod out, but I'll keep it in my favorites. Liked as well.

Having the same problem where I open my magic menu and I crash, I'm using my stealth build atm to counteract this but I enjoy my battlemage, if this could be fixed that would be amazing

Can't be recognized as a higher vampire by people in the castle so I wouldn't recommend getting this if you also plan on becoming a vampire during the dawnguard questline.

So right after I get the tattoos and I try opening up the magic menu, the game has a stroke and closes out. Any ideas?

@QueAsco I believe this is the reason.

So you say yakuza, but I only see gothic, maori and tribal tattoos with some chinese symbol randomly thrown in there

Quick tip: Yakuza are members of japanese crime syndicates who are notorious for their strict codes of conduct and their organized fiefdom-nature
