Updated version of Improved Camera mod by "barbro"

The author of the orignal mod never updated it for the official gamepad support patch. And because of that, whenever you were trying to use the gamepad's D-PAD to cycle through soldier actions in command mode, the camera would rotate with every push.

This is basically the same mod with the offending code removed. If you are currently using the original mod and NOT using a gamepad, there is no reason to switch mods.

@loggerhythm Firaxis should have fixed it themselves years ago, or at least put a free rotation system in place on launch!

So the other version I have quit working. Camera only rotates like vanilla with 90 degree. Uninstalled that, then installed this, and same thing. only a 90 degree rotation.
any fixes I haven't seen around?

Then vanilla game users can't use this mod. If it works, "leave it alone" is best for everyone.

Could you update this so WotC doesn't think it isn't compatable? It works, but it'd be nice to not have that the game know it's compatable.

I had been using this for WotC after @Sorry Charlie said it seems to work. However, I have had a few CTDs since enabling this. Might unsubscribe then see if it makes a difference. Otherwise, really loved having a mod like this again for WotC.

Yes, this update is mainly for gamepad users. It will still work correctly for keyboard & mouse, but there's no need to switch tp this version unless you are using a gamepad.

sure, just put a link saying that if you are gamepad user to maybe try this version instead. If you do ever get around to updating yours, lemme know and i'll direct ppl back to yours. I did this mainly for myself, but i figured i'd make it public for the other gamepad warriors out there. I want no credit for it though.
