Lore
The Python was designed to follow infantry into urban battlefields, and support them with its automated turret fire. In this role, it can quickly lay down suppression on enemy positions, allowing allied infantry to move freely and eliminate threats. While not designed for anti-tank warfare, the Python still has a missile turret of its own to defend against armoured or airborne threats.

FLIGHT DYNAMICS

Friction can be increased (4) for quick braking, or to apply a parking brake. Friction should always be decreased (4) to 0 when in motion.

The Tank is most stable under 200 km/h. Over this speed, it begins to get too much air on many hills, which can lead to issues such as rolling or nose diving. Operating this tank requires careful usage of the hover thrusters (3). It is not recommended that you have these thrusters online during normal driving, as they can decrease contact with the land to an unsafe extent. However, these thrusters should be turned on whenever you gain too much air, as it will soften the fall back to the earth and keep you from damaging the tank. It is recommended that you allow the fall to begin, and use the hover thrusters to slow a fall, rather than turning the thrusters on as soon as you go airborne.

Note that the tank is capable of flight, if you have the hover thrusters on and pitch the nose up slightly. While it is not designed for this, the feature can be useful if you need to cross chasms or other impassible terrain, or find yourself going too fast and getting too much air.

happy to be of inspiration! though the original idea of using sideways wheels isn't mine (i'm honestly not sure who was the first), i've simply adapted that myself. it's as close as we can get to true hovertanks right now.

I mean, make sand skimmer type crafts. It's a cool idea.

I'm getting some ideas to make more ships from these... Thanks!
