Description
A giant Carrier-class Capital ship based on the style of the classic game HomeWorld 2. Half scale, based on available data.

Weight: 142 million Kg

Length: 502m long

Features:

Survival ready, fully conveyored up
No mods
Command center with fully laid out control stations
Medical Bay with Cryo pods and conveyor access
Engineering bay with Production Facilities and storage
Multiple Gyro Bays internal and external to main hull
4 Hanger bays- 8 main docking ports
4 more quick acess docking points on outer hull
4 Point defense Gatling Turrets
Faithfull lighting system for hanger bays- can be toggled on/off to avoid blindness...
Multiple Jump Drives

Special Features:

3D printer for small grid ships- rebuild lost ships or expand your fleet. Printer is very simple to use with just 4 buttons on a panel- extend pistons, load blue print and adjust, turn on welders, retract piston.
Adjust alignment for the blueprint via the Projector settings, make sure the printing 'sprue' touches the projection ( no out of bounds warning ), then turn on the printers and retract the
pistons ( need to be extended before you print or turn on the welders )- they are set for minimum speed to ensure ships are printed fully, provided you have the resources available.

I have blue prints for Interceptors, Probes and Assault Corvettes that can be printed ( Interceptors may require just finishing off welding by-hand due to length issues ), check my other workshop items for Blueprints.

Summary:

This thing is a Monster, took me over 30 hours to build and I did my best to make sure it is a fully functional ship that is worthy of a place at the heart of any fleet.
Not very fast to accelerate, but with her bank of Jump Drives she is more of a mobile base that can Jump from place to place, then use her thrusters to position herself as required for resource gathering or as a workshop, base of operations etc etc, or just drift along slowly with the fleet to defend her from threats.

Don't forget to Like, Share & Follow if you enjoy my content, it keeps me motivated to build more. Cheers.

Don't forget to check out the rest of my HomeWorld ships on the workshop, I have a Collection which is updated regularly: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/workshop/filedetails/?id=1818498339

@Jakethorley9999- exactly right. This is a functional ship in so far that is is survival ready, but it is in no way designed to be used for serious survival purposes or PvP etc etc. It's mainly just meant to look accurate ( compared to the original ), and maybe used in machinimas if someone wanted to recreate a sequence in the style of HomeWorld. I think CoboltStorm needs to dial-down the 'enthusiasm' when reviewing replicas of game/movie ships...

@CobaltStorm i think that the ship is meant firstly for creative and secondly for looks not actual functionality. granted it has function.

@Manic VI- by all means make a comparison video or something and tweak your own design if you like, but I'm not into colabs or shared projects sorry, this is purely a personal project, as are the rest of my fleet.

@Lord Wraith- Nice review, she was getting too heavy so I had to start hollowing out certain areas to save a bit of weight, and ditch a few gyros. I figure being a slow moving carrier is pretty accurate to the game, you're right about her not being a fighter... :D

@Azure- getting scale right with the larger ships isn't so bad, though all mine so far are a little off due to certain issues with symetry or thruster damage range being increased ( thanks for that Keen... ). The small ships though are a pain to get right as they are on a different grid size of course and certain features just look too small or large, so I just do the best I can.

Have done a review of your design - hope you like it - https://youtu.be/CUAU3_oW6D0

Quite a nice build, good sir!
I've made a start on the Kushan Mothership a couple of times, but I've never quite gotten beyond the spine, as it's always been on the backburner (and I always get distracted when I try, because I need to re-make a resource collector to get a feel for the scale, and I'm never happy with it if it doesn't feel like it's exactly right xD)
