About This Content
Spatha 400 AD Model Resource Pack

I created this Spatha based on one of Patrick Bárta's reproductions (Catalogue number: 149). The sword itself is said to be based on a find in Samson, Belgium and is dated to 400 AD. It is fully textured with high quality 2k size texture maps included (for you to scale down if you want) and already rigged and converted into rigidmodel_v2 and also supports following features:

Additional supported Features
  • Three different model variants (Sword; Scabbard without Sword; Scabbard and Sword)
  • 3 different handmade LODs (Level Of Details) each for better performance

High and Low Poly



With this Mod activated, some Germanic units will use this sword.

But don't you think that yours fits better than the vanilla swords? Cus they don fit this game at all. Base game swords look like Celtic swords form 3rd century bc

@𝑱𝒐𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒏𝒆𝒔 It's a very expensive spatha and not meant for the common soldier, that's why only officers and the more noble units are using it in this Mod. You could change it yourself with the Pack File Manager though if you want.

Could you replace every germanic swordsmen unit's swords with yours? I can't stand the sight of nordic warriors equipped with those ugly, celtic short swords. This is the only reason why I dont play nordic factions. I would be really gratefull if you could do that.

@stealth4health interesting fact that only several units has clipping. I think its because of the sword and spear classes or armour types.

@Ernst von Jacob Thanks for letting me know. I haven't tested the spatha togehter with the shield. If it's clipping through the shield I guess I can't do anything about it. The animations weren't made for swords and shields of this size apparently.
