Description
The original Magellan was a long time favorit for pve for me and my friends but ...

the time was over for this great and beautiful ship. Too old and wrong blocks, some things didnt met our needs ...

I did a complete new build and got a nearly 1:1 copy of the original. Fully upgraded with battle steel blocks and modern engines.

My rebuild is completely unpainted and you can choose a color.

Okay tested my full armored version for 6.0 The modifying to the new blocks (like airlock doors for example) leasts 10 Minutes. The Hangar elevator door is an air lock and works. If you want O2 in the bay you need a second Door at the back. Installation should be no problem :)

I absolutely love the magellan as well. I have been using one for a while. Mine is totally beaten up and lightly modded, haha.

I'm planning on upgrading to your version in a while :D

What means 6.0 friendly? Blocks should be up to date and 6.0 should be no problem with minimal customizing. Maybe ill test it the next days in 6.0 :)

The biggest problem was the weight. It changed to nearly the fourth of the original but it wasnt possible to change the engine much. Engine power now is nearly doubled but thats enough. I have uploaded some screenshots of my painting version :) Hmm battle orientated .... Me and my freinds are playing only pve but some of the blocks got 200 hitpoints only and no upgrade possible and the new ones have 2000. Thats much better even in PVE. And your original design is awesome because it has good flight behaviour, low landing space required and everything needed for a starting. My version is nearly naked for individual interiuer design and keeping the costs low as possible.

Great job! I'm really honored that you enjoyed the Magellan so much. This update looks good and I hope it gets the job done in more battle-oriented aspects of the game. I can't wait to see all the changes firsthand. Cool stuff! :steamhappy:
