Gamma Test 1 (Non contest version)

Description
Okay, I kind of blew it on several fronts with the contest version, having missed several bad flaws. This time around, you can reach the exit without cheating.

v1.3 Annoying glitches fixed + texture updates

mixed thoughts on this map:
something new :) (or was when created)
some counter intuitive, non portal 2, non logic.
some good logic, portal 2, intuitive.
looks good & a lot of work went into it.
helpfull signage & text.
the end not going to this page, was bad.
just stuck there :(

Is there a walkthrough for this?

In the room where you have to get a companion cube, the blue gel doesn't seem to be dispensing, so I can't get the regular cube. Otherwise, amazing map.

This map is probably the most appealing of all but alas I am too stupid to solve it.

One of the defining characteristics of portal 2, and one of the things that made it work, is the clear, obvious differentiatable textures. These walls are portalable, these ones aren't. Even in the "backstage" areas, it is still fairly easy to remember which is which. This map makes no visual distinction between portalable and non-portalable surfaces in the main body of the puzzle. That is a fatal error. Do not repeat it.

I liked all the new elements, but I feel they could be explained more. Some of the new buttons didn't make sense at first, nor was it particularly easy to figure out what surfaces could hold portals or not. And at times even the world portals felt kind of confusing, though I do love world portals and I'm glad to see someone use them. If you could explain things better next time, I'd definitely be all for that map because as cool as this was, I was pretty much poking around in the dark most of the time.
