Golden Horseshoe

Description
A map based on the Golden Horseshoe area of Ontario Canada. Areas include: Ancaster, Dundas, Hamilton, Stoney Creek. Other minor/part areas not mentioned.

resources: Forestry, Mining To simulate Steel industry in Hamilton area and Dundas Quarry areas, lots of agriculture.

Base map derived from terrain.party (thanks much). Major highways as accurate as possible including Lincoln Alexander & Redhill in Hamilton.

Notes: I know it's not perfect. There are a number of descepancies that don't fit with RL. It's a game. If you want more accuracy, you'll need to make your own version.

After some extensive playing on this map and subsequent research, I had to make adjustments to the rail lines primarily. Seperated the Niagara & Toronto Line, added a Mount Hope line, which now gives 4 unique rail connections. Since I was at it, I added a highway connection to mount Hope, which brings car connections up to 4 also. I would have preferred to use the 2 lane/2way national road for that, but connections to outside, only seem to be recognized if 3 Lane/1Way is used.

Found out today that the map had some dependancies to do with road mods. Due to the recent expansion and those mods not working/updated yet, I disabled them, and found that the map then broke. I have fixed those broken areas so the map should work fine with/with out mods, though some bridges/junctions on the highways may not look quite as nice as they once did. I'm sure users can rework them as they deem when they come across them, to be more suitable to their tastes/needs.
