Description
Blue mining's Luxury prospecting, scouting and passenger shuttle.

This ship is a refit of the "Ugly Prospecting Shuttle" but has essentially the same class, but more luxurious.

Class Spec:
Power economical, runs on 1 battery and reactor. Can run on ice, tank not vital.
Air piped into cockpit.
Hybrid flight, able to fly between oxygen rich planets and space. Runs atmos, Ions and Hydrogen.
Seats 1 passenger.
Able to scan for ore.
Has a Scouting Camera
One Medium Cargo Crate Storage
Able to create fuel on board.

Luxury Upgrades:
More Stylish.
Equipped with radio
Landing/Flight Spotlights
Passenger Seat has Air con as standard.
Dedicated camera for passenger.
Has a hydrogen tank to extend range and reduce refuel time.
Has extra storage for passenger.
Aerodynamically Plausable (may work with Aero Mods too)
Upgraded Forward thruster.
Upgraded vertical Atmos Thrust.

Warnings:
This flies like a private jet. If you don't know how to fly one, practice before taking on passengers.
As this is an executive luxury shuttle, it lacks some of the usual triple redundancy systems typical of Blue Mining Ships. This ship is only dual redundant. In an emergency it can run only off the reactor or the battery, and dual piping services the crew sections. Adding two more dowward hydrogen thrusters can also allow it to take off in "limp home mode" but this is not recommended.
This is designed for about 2 hours flght time.

Operating Instructions:
Refuelling - once docked on connector activate stockpile key to refuel tank quickly. Or load up with ice and idle until you have enough fuel for your trip in the tank.

Recharging - when docked set battery to recharge mode. Or Simply land and idle until the reactor charges it.

Flight - On planets you can fly on only Atmos. Although you can use Ions too for a little extra agility.

Takeoff - Make sure you take battery out of recharge mode first. This can take off via a runway (activate the rear thrust and Atmos/Ions go forward and nose up) or Vertical Take off and Landing (activate Atmost and/or Hydrogen boost, and rise up.) Once in the air leave hydrogen engines off unless leaving planet or carrying extra cargo.

Landing - approach planet at between 100ms and 250ms, come in on a shallow angle, so point nose just up from horizon about 10 degrees. Make sure Atmos is on and Ions. Hydrogen can be on or off depending on available fuel.

Once you get within 2000-1000 metres, your Atmos will start pulling lots of power.

At 1000 Metres; Turn off IONS to save power, and turn on hydrogen engine if not on already and point nose up 45 degrees. Higher angle if your approach is still too fast. You may need to thrust forward if dampeners are not slowing you fast enough, like you are trying to fly into space to keep clear of the ground.

Once you get below 300 metres and your speed and altitude seems stable, gradually pitch down as you slow down until you are level with ground. Turn off hydrogen engine and make sure you can hover ok. It should be safe to turn Ions back on for some extra thrust at this point.

Now fly carefully below 400 metres until you reach your landing site. If you need to turn faster tilt into the turn. Gradually thrust down towards the ground as you move carefully forward, pitch up about 10 to 15 degrees to maximise stopping power. Once your rear landing gear touches down push down until the front landing gear light up and lock them. Turn off all engines end exit the vehicle. If you have uranium the batterys should start to charge themself, if not set battery to recharge only mode. Check your ice and make sure the hydrogen is refilling. (or dock the shuttle on a connector and set stockpile as refueling instructions above)
