Description
This game was on Kickstarter, please support the official release:
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/dailymagicgames/sailing-toward-osiris

Note: This is an early PNP version of Sailing Toward Osiris. Content is a work in progress and is subject to change.

'Sailing Toward Osiris is a worker placement game for 2-5 players where you and your friends will be gathering resources, using favors from the gods, and utilizing citizen powers to build monuments on the River Nile. Not only must you use your actions wisely, you must also time them for the most efficient play. Gain bonus points for building a monument next to the Pharaoh's barge. Or build your monuments in certain configurations to get bonus points at the end of the game.'

No problem, it happens. The gameplay should work just fine as long as you use the rulebook in the description/in-game since that's the one provided to me to work with this version of the game. I can't make any guarantees for any version of the rulebook that was distributed later via BGG and such.

My deepest apologies Arteus I didn't realise this was meant to be a demo. Do you play the game the same way as the release version as I mentioned there are items missing so does it affect the game?

@MrAckle - Got home and checked the mod. I feel like you may be comparing this mod to the release version of Sailing Toward Osiris rather than the demo version that this is meant to represent. This demo contains different numbers of city cards and certain tokens than the full game. The withdraw tokens are the same shape as the regency tokens but each player does indeed have one, at this stage they were not the shape of pharaoh masks.

The starting goods have not been laid out for each player as they are intended to be random at the start of each game and there is no guarantee that 5 people will be playing every time the mod is loaded. Having to draw them yourself ensures randomness and ease of setup with fewer players. Hidden areas were definitely my bad, I just updated the mod with hidden areas in place and recoloured hands to match the pieces in their space.

Sorry that this isn't representative of the final product but DMG only permit me to release demo versions of their games.

@MrAckle - I checked everything with DMG before publishing the mod and everything was in order. Thanks for letting me know something seems to have gone amiss. I'm about to head off to work but tonight I'll make this a priority and figure out what went wrong. If all goes well I'll push out an update tonight. Again, thanks for the heads up.

Noticed a few things about your mod, there's only 20 city cards instead of 25, there's no withdraw token, there's 1 too many obelisks, 1 too few sphinxes and everyone needs a hidden area plus their starting goods. I am sorry but I shall not play this game till it's complete.

Thanks Arteus, I'll take a look!

@Mangozine - If you're still looking at this comment section I'm happy to inform you that there is now a Tabletopia version if you're still having issues with TTS.

@Mangozine - I can't say I know what your issue is. Thus far I haven't seen anybody with the same, it sounds like more of a steam issue than specifically this mod. Keep me informed if you decide to try it again. I'm afraid I haven't had authorization to make a Tabletopia version.
