Craft new Battlemage armors that will protect you more effectively while you decimate your foes!

Two new armor sets for mages who aren't afraid of heavy armor:

Battlemage Armor - based on Steel Plate, this armor provides additional magicka pool and spell cost reduction to all schools. Recipes for these armor items will appear once you have have joined the college and have the steel smithing perk. Viewable in the Steel category.

Arch Battlemage Armor - based on Dwarven armor,this set provides the same bonuses as archmage robes in addition to additional magicka and magic resist. This armor is only available to the Archmage of the College of Winterhold. Requires the Arcane Blacksmith perk, and is viewable in the Dwarven section.

Both sets are crafted at the forge, and are improved at the bench. Improvements require Arcane Blacksmith perk.

Update: Apologies to those who couldn't find the recipes before. The Archmage gear uses the Arcane Blacksmith perk so that you don't need three perks to get the gear. If people prefer, I may change the smithing recipe to use Dwarven. Steel Battlemage does require membership in the College of Winterhold. If you have done the tour, you should be able to make the armor.
