So. As I was driving home the freeway dipped under an overpass with ramps going up the sides and I wondered, why don't I have something simple just like this in Cities:Skylines?

The light bulb went on inside my head and I got straight to creating this the moment I got home !

The result is better than I had imagined. You can zone buildings on top of your highway and you can expand into a 6 lane road on top or even add another 6 lane road. You can even add another highway crossing over the top of it !

OR

Instead of using a clover leaf intersection you can place one of these and then rotate another one 90 degrees and place it down over either highway end to create a 4-way-kinda intersection. It won't be the same. It will better!
A clover leaf is big , bulky and tall and you have to find ways around it but with this you can add train lines straight along it in either direction and place services, offices and parks right along its straight lines. No wasted space !
