Q: But what about the dynamic shadow engine limit of 4?
A: The "Scanner" checks if there are too many shadow casting light sources around and disables torch-shadows if there are more than 3.
(Note that the scanner might not recognize some lightsources from certain light overhaul mods, so there could still be some flickering lights at specific locations. Simply add those locations to the blacklist in the provided MCM menu.)
