Just to the north-east of the rift valley lake Þingvallavatn, this volcanic feature was scanned in early August 2015. It is not far from Þingvellir, the site of the ancient, long-running Icelandic parliament.

The scene was built almost entirely with Reality Capture - the source images for this scene didn't have particularly good coverage, so there's a fair amount of Photoshop cloning onto interpolated geometry going on for a few of the teleport locations. (If in doubt: take more photos! Even if the jetlag is kicking in.)

Around 1.8 million triangles with ten 8k textures for the terrain, with some extras for the skydome and transparent foliage at the top of the rocky cliffs.
