Pixel Printer Recipes

Description
Are you tired of lugging wood around everywhere? Do you wish to construct a house from thin air? Want lights that don't go out in the rain? Despair no longer, for this is the return of the Portable Pixel Printer!

Pixel Printer Recipies is a mod that reimplements recipies for items that were previously crafted using the Portable Pixel Printer. Rather than simply reenable the deprecated unlock system, however, PPR instead allows the player to craft a new pixel printer item that is set to autoconsume, which enables the recipes using unlockBlueprintsOnPickup.

Craftable using the printer are all items that were made unobtainable with the removal of the PPP, but as most blocks have proper crafting recipes at the Industrial Workbench now, only the Light Metal tile has been made available to print. As consolation, Colony Deeds can now be constructed using the printer. No more running back to the Outpost every time you want to lease out something. Colony Deeds are highly specialized equipment, though, so printing them costs the same as buying them.

Schematics for the Printer are available for use at any Architect's Table. Build one, and build everything!

How does a mod like this work, at a technical level? I'm trying to add a couple recipes to player crafting (like the sleeping bag and the filing cabinet) but I don't have any relevant coding knowledge to make sense of the coding language starbound is made in.

I really miss this feature from the beta days, I wonder if this still works in 1.4? And is it compatible with Frackin' Universe?

I really like this mod. it really makes you feel like a member of an interstellar civilisation, able to just replicate simple, disposable electric lights instead of having to manually light torches n' shit.

or being able to pull a prefab, biodegradable house out of your pocket and pop it down to weather the night

we (real world) can make houses form plasic and that plasic is made out of air (carbondioside)

I never understood this change. Or a number of similar changes, for that matter. I mean... why? Why would they go out of their way to make simple things less accessible? Why would they pointlessly cut out basic content and trim away variety? That's the polar opposite of what you're supposed to do as you update your game!

@SeekoDestroyer: Very well. It is not available in vanilla, however, so it's going to be another mod. Do you have "Spooky Tweaks" installed, by any chance? That mod does reenable to Portable Pixel Printer, though I'll have to check how its implementation compares to mine.

@SeekoDestroyer: Can't find anything about it on the FU GitHub repository, so if something adds it back it probably isn't FrackinUniverse. Just to be sure, are you currently subscribed to this mod? This mod adds a clone of the PPP to the Architect's Table, but it (by design) does not function in the same way as the original does.
