Don't touch that! Negative quirk tweaks

Description
Crimson Court compatibility
Latest update will fix compatibility with the DLC, along with the latest build

What it does
I enjoy the idea of negative quirks and the added difficulty they provide, so I didn't want to simply remove all negative quirks. I did, however, dislike some of them enough to make my own mod to disable some but not all of the negative quirks, namely the ones that force actions inside of a dungeon.

I did not delete any of these quirks, just disabled them from being chosen, meaning these quirks won't show up by those in the stage coach and will not be learned after quests. Thus Reynauld who starts off as a klepto still likes to steal and if any of the people already in your party has these quirks they aren't going away. Dismas just has learned not to hire thieves and people too curious for their own good ever again.

Given new reports, I have found that these quirks can be forced on a character via stress, and I assume from interactions as well this behavior will not be changed.

This mod edits these quirks

Ablutomania, Bloodthirsty, Compulsive
Dacnomania, Dark Temptation, Demonomania
Dipsomania, Egomania, Guilty Conscience
Hagiomania, Hieromania, Hylomania
Kleptomaniac, Necromania, Paranormania
Plutomania, Sitiomania, curious

Compatibility
This mod is incompatible with anything that edits the quirk_library.json file, everything else is fine.
This mod is compatible with the DLC update hotfix build 20222

Installation
Backup quirk_library.json!
Place the shared\quirks folder inside of your Steam\steamapps\common\DarkestDungeon folder and replace the old file

Bugs
none have been reported.

So far is really good, a small complain tho this mod for some reason nerfs some quirks, specifically Crit quirks, Deadly goes from 2% to 1%, Eagle Eye and Precise Striker from 5% to 3%. This might be intended or not, but still worth mentioning just in case.

hey, as céfiro said, im not sure you're still working on this or mods in general, but how hard would it be to completely remove prismatic quirks from the game? just curious

Good FUK thank you

I understand, I imagined it would be complicated, but I did not know how much. Thanks for your answer anyway! :D

@Céfiro i probably wouldn't have the skills to make that, i would need to plug in to wherever a characters history of quirk removals is and change the the random quirk pool depending on what hero opens something or checks something and do that dynamically for every person in a dungeon. this mod literally just changes a pre existing list of quirks a character can start out with in the stage coach.

I don't know if you're still working on this, but I want to propose an idea for a new mod similar to the one you've already done. How viable do you see making a mod that eliminates the possibility that a positive quirk that you previously removed in the sanatorium will come out again? I'm not talking about negative quirks because maybe it makes the game a lot easier.

This would be 90x better if you just completely disabled those quirks instead.
