DFC Deimos (Modded)

A common sight on the rim, the Destiny Fleetyards Corporate's Deimos Medium Frigate is designed for engaging enemy carriers and their fighters. A speciality, it turns out, that is excellent for anti-piracy work.

The ship is equipped with six Aden machine guns, more than enough to deal with most light craft, and has a forward mounted 230 mm quad assault cannon for ship-to-ship fighting. while individually outclassed against a well equipped enemy, the simple affordabilaty of the Deimos means they will usually travel in packs, scouting alone, but never more then a jump away from friends. Also, the Deimos often serves as a coordination vessel for recon groups comprised of smaller ships, and the manual fire control stations can also do drone pilot duty.

Finally, there is a bulkhead on the bridge to help keep it pressurized when the observation port is exposed to space.

Notes: Everything should be conveyered up, so this ship could serve as a support vessel for a survival capital ship, just be warned that like every combat ship I make, it assumes a level of logistical infrastructure is in place to supply ammo and fuel.
