Because some shops need more parking spaces.

After all, when that new store pops up, it suddenly makes parking a pain. Likewise, how are we supposed to sell our clunkers if that Honest John guy is driving us out of town? How am I supposed to conduct shady business deals at Bird Bros. or Andy's Donuts if there's a big light over my head? Also, how does an RV park around here?

Luckily for you, with the help of a little hidden cube, I've managed to create filler lots that work like the industrial filler lots for farmers and lumberjacks. These lots should help add open concrete patches, random billboards, and dirt patches for conducting shady deals (because they somehow still employ people!). But you'll need to set their spawn rate in the Building Themes Mod to 50 or higher in order for them to even think about showing up... The game certainly hates lots that are smaller than 3x4, and these things don't exceed 2x4...
