Description

My first Ark Mod. Made the machete mainly to make sure that I understand all of the steps needed to make a mod but also with the intent to provide a possibly useful new weapon.

The machete does more damage and has more durability than the sword. It is crafted at the fabricator for 100 polymer, 100 hide, and 50 metal ingots. The engram can be unlocked at level 50.

Command to spawn yourself one:
GiveItem "Blueprint'/Game/Mods/TacticalMacheteMod/PrimalItem_WeaponTacticalMachete.PrimalItem_WeaponTacticalMachete'" 1 1 false

Thats strange, I couldn't find it in the fabricator. Is this a load order issue?

Nicely designed!!! Fits well into the niche between primitive and modern as "The Artificer" noted.

Any chance you could add a custom ini for weapon damage and durability?

Perfect idea. Smith tier has a sword, tek tier has a sword, there are plenty of mods for primitive flint, bone, and obsidian swords, why not a fabricated modern tier blade to fill that gap? Carbon polymer-based machete would be the thing to do it.
