GIPF Project

Description
A two player abstract game from the GIPF project series by Kris Burm[www.gipf.com], published by Huch&Friends[www.hutter-trade.com].

Description
In YINSH, the players each start with five rings on the board. Every time a ring is moved, it leaves a marker behind. Markers are white on one side and black on the other. When markers are jumped over by a ring they must be flipped, so their color is constantly changing. The players must try to form a row of five markers with their own color face up. If a player succeeds in doing so, he removes one of his rings as an indication that he has formed such a row. The first player to remove three of his rings wins the game. In other words, each row you make brings you closer to victory-but also makes you weaker, because you have one fewer ring to play with. Very tricky!

Rules
Rules are included in the game as a rule wall (see pictures) or you can read them from the multilingual YINSH rules PDF[www.hutter-trade.de].

Have fun.

Hi, wanted you know that your mod has been added to my collection: Board Game Geek - BGG - May 2020 - Best Mod for each of the Top 500 Rated Games. Collection here: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2086043930

The collection used this priority system:

1. Mod's Files Availability: Mod with all/most files still available for download
2. Feature completeness: Mod with greatest inclusion of expansions and/or promos available for the board game title
2. Scripting: Mod with scripting that most reduces work in setup/play for players
3. Component Quality: Mod with the best visuals/usability in terms of component quality
4. Table Setup/Ambiance: Mod with the best immersion with table, background, and other modeling.

Please also note that a mod that makes selection for this list very well could be one in which the mod author borrowed the majority of assets from another workshop listing, so full thanks to all who worked on a mod.

Thanks for your hard work!

@Knaughx
You are welcome. I put some effort into the Gipf mods, I want them to be used after all. ;)

Thank you for your kind words @error. I was aiming for the board as kind of a foiled gloss effect, like for most GIPF project games I modded. Thinking of it as a thin glossy film ironed on for the grid and the finer grid of the texture. Guess it turned out ok. :)

Excellent work! You are cooking through these. I think you have the hardest out of the way. I love how much detail you've put into the boards and pieces. Everything is gorgeous! Also, the way the pieces fit together is fantastic. Well done. :ai_flare:
