Equipment Slots Overhaul with Brother-in-Arms Compatibility (ESOBC)

Description
A modification on the Player's Inventory Panel and Playable Character's Base data, to add a set of visual only equipment (Cosmetic Slots) and swap function for armors (default hotkey is "a"). This affect both Brother-in-Arms and BiA: Warbounds too.

WARNING: BACK UP YOUR GAME SAVES AND UNEQUIP ALL ITEMS BEFORE USING THIS MOD.

WARNING2: Sending Pet to Town will let all equipment in the cosmetic slots of your BiA be sold into gold.

Use ESOEC mod if you want compatibility with Torchlight II Essentials mod but not with Brother-in-Arms: The Human Companion Pet Mod

Use Ultimate Inventory Panels mod if you like ESOBC with 20-Page Stash

But if you do not prefer the Inventory Upgrade by JLCat and no intention of using my Brother-in-Arms mod, try this ESO instead

Features
  • Cosmetic Slots - a set of armor equipment slots that only serves as visual customization and equipment's benefits will not affect the character.
  • Swappable Armors - a set of hidden equipment slots that can be accessed by switching them to your current armor set interchangeably, just like with weapon swapping.
  • Stash Switch - is an added button at the upper right side of player's inventory panel, to be able to access your 20-Page Stash anywhere. Buy. sell, or shared stash transfer directly to Player's Stash!
  • Smart Tabs - is an added function to all inventory tabs' hotspots, this will allow automatic selection of a particular unselected tab, to make life easier and prevent so much button clicking. (i.e. if you get the hang of it, turn it off if you can't)
  • Compatibility with both Brother-in-Arms and BiA: Warbounds mod to make human companions be able to use cosmetic slots too.

Important Notes
  • Weapon Swap buttons ("I" and "II") have been changed to avoid issues using two swap functions
  • Cosmetic Slots are hideable in the Panel

This is a severed piece of my Torchlight II UI + ESOBC mod.

The term "Cosmetic Slots" came from this mod by the same name. Credit goes to Breck for bringing this concept to the workshop.

I would also like to credit steffire3 for introducing me to mods such as Cosmetic Slots that lead me to an overhaul idea for equipment slots.

No, using ESOEC would still give your warbound cosmetic access.

The EC version have the Inventory Upgrade by JLCat and uses the Pet Inventory (Personalized by Lone Wolf McQuade). That said, it means the features I made for the player inventory has been replaced. Only the cosmetic slots and armor swap remains.

The BC version will give you my pet inventory custom made for human companions (starting pet) that have their own skill and stat points. Using this pet inventory with pets that are not from my BiA mod will automatically transform it into the vanilla pet inventory (2 stub & 1 collar). So, no more dedicated inventory container for armors and gems.

It is important to take note that having a compatibility for BiA mod, also means the "Equipment Comparison Bug", where as it will not function properly anymore, will occur too. Because adding weapon equipment slots to pets breaks that function, apparently. Warbounds mod don't have that issue.

I guess the next question is, if all ESO versions are compatible with Warbound, what's the difference between using ESO:BC versus ESO:EC?

What do I lose by using the EC version? (no cosmetic slots for companions?)

What do I lose by using the BC version? (I gain cosmetic slots for companions, but what functions do I lose from the EC version?)

Is it possible to use these 3 mods together?

Torchlight II Essentials
BiA: Warbound
ESO

(I don't know if there's an ESO version that's compatible with Warbound and Essentials.)

Update

- Fixed the issue with Visual Equipment (Cosmetic) Slots for BiA: Warbounds, I also improved the wardrobe update in Warbound Panel and Pet Panel (for Brother-in-Arms mod compatibility)

I have the same problem, the cosmetic slots on base class Brothers-In-Arms followers (non static appearances) do not seem to function. I can't get the base look to change at all. Could mod order affect this? (If so what is your mod order?)

Thank you for using one of my mod and I assure you that it is not a bug. Visual Only equipment slots work on any of my companion mods, I would not had published this if it weren't working. Unless you are using an NPC modeled companion which have static look, then I'm afraid it will affect them in the first place.

Hello, I've been using this mod for the past couple of days, along with Brothers-In-Arms along with the Warbound version. However the cosmetic slots on the followers don't seem to have any effect, as in the armor visual doesn't change at all. I wonder if this is a bug or some hardcoded stuff.

Update

- Using this mod on top of TL2 Essentials or any bagmods will overwrite their custom inventory container sizes into the default. That makes the player stash, the only inventory that has many pages. This excludes the mods that affect the Shared Stash.

Update

Player Level and NG+ stats will now show properly even on "Level 100 NG+++++"

Special thanks to Aherin for suggesting it!
