Description
Here is another one, I think I've done enough maps in Yorkshire for now, but here is one in the old North Riding of Yorkshire, set on the edge of the Howardian Hills and near to the North York Moors, in the area known as Ryedale, is the village of Hutton Bradley in North Yorkshire, with a population of around 750 people, near to the towns of Helmsley, Pickering, Malton and Kirkbymoorside. This was inspired to many visits to the Ryedale area in North Yorkshire, especially as a kid, where I used to go to Helmsley and Pickering quite a bit. There is also an influence of the village of Hovingham in the map, that only a few miles from Hutton Bradley.

Some features of this village:
St Nicholas' Church - Or referred to as St Nick's by the local's, this 12th century church, which has been rebuilt over the centuries has been the focal point for Hutton Bradley for years. The design was based off St Helen's at Sheriff Hutton, and also other features of other local churches. Inside you've got a nice interior, a pipe organ built by Laycock and Bannister, originally for a church in Blackburn, but now resides in Hutton Bradley, a ring of 6 bells that can be rung out from the tower, and another beautiful village parish church.
The Shops - Based off what I saw at Hovingham, and adjusted to my own taste, you've got the village shop, the post office, and then the bakery. All of them are convenient for the village and self sufficient in supply, before the villagers go a shopping trip to Malton!!
The Cafe - More that I've seen in Hovingham, but it does not exactly replicate the cafe there. Tea, Coffee, and meals are served here.
The Pub - The White Horse pub at Hutton Bradley is said to be rated in the top 10 pubs of the old North Riding of Yorkshire, but that was in a book published in 1962, 12 years before it became part of North Yorkshire, but I think many good pubs of the old West Riding have put this pub below the top 10 list, but it's still very good!! Have fun in there!
The Methodist Church - Another small but delightful Methodist Church, with a small chamber organ in there, the building itself dates from 1842, built as an exact replica of the older building before it.
Houses and the Hotel - Again, the hotel bit was influenced by the one at Hovingham, especially the old Manor House being part of it, press the button inside it and it plays a song I made about the Ryedale, because Lets Go To Ryedale! Download it here: https://soundcloud.com/thunderbirds76-returns/lets-go-to-ryedale
A house to go in - Well yep.....enough typing for now

Have fun, subscribe and rate up!
