Agamemnon Statue

Description
This mod adds a the statue of Agamemnon to the editor.

For those who don't know, there are unused leftover texture files for this statue in the game files. However, there were no model files, icons or even name entry in the language file, so I made the models myself and applied these unsused textures.

The statue is simply named "Agamemnon".

Would be nice to see the rest of the Trojan War's cast (Diomedes, Menelaus, Hector, Pandarus, Memnon etc) after reading this again, but alas unless it was for an exclusive campaign or something, probably wouldn't be worth the effort.

Why didn't you make him dab?

The history files jokingly explains that Agamemnon lost his spear and that's why he attacks with his fists.

they should give agemennon a spear and a sheild to fight with

Actually, in the original stories, Ajax kills himself during the Trojan War (but after the Iliad). ES took a lot of liberties with the story and their mythology.

I like these mods that implement existing but incomplete assets. Nice!

Well Ajax was also supposed to commit suicide not very long after the Trojan war, but he comes back in The New Atlantis campaign, so Agamemnon might not have died either in Age of Mythology's world.

Also technically Agamemnon died after the war being killed by his wife, and/or her new lover. So the point of his and Mycenae's return is pretty pointless.

I mean that kinda fits ES and the campaign to do that.

Maybe they changed him (if it was your speculation) for creative reasons

I tried to go for a heroic pose by using a frame from his fighting animation, I think it turned out alright, but I can also see how he might look a little silly.

I speculate that Agamemnon was originally meant to be the Greek enemy but the idea was dropped in favor of Malagius because the player would feel like a bad guy for killing a hero from the original campaign.

I know it's just Agamemnon's animation, but he Looks like the player held down the attack button before punching an npc in Saints Row 2.

Anyway for something basic, looks good, I wonder if Mycenae was meant to feature in TT?
