*First 4 Images are of the same ship using different color combo's. You can customize the look of this ship to your own liking in the Ship designer by selecting the part and inverting materials.

I find it helps me in game play when using the same model with different weapon/equiptment loadouts.
Standard Bomber vs Stealth Bomber for example.
