Description
Cave here. As I'm sure the kindly old priest I accidentally ran over the other day will be glad to inform you, I am not a religious man. I gotta confess though, there is a certain ethereal majesty to ancient cathedrals. Especially when we've sneaked in and converted them into test chambers! That's right, I'm Father Cave, and I shall now read to you from the Bible:

"For if thou doth triumph over the evil riddles of this chamber, then thou art truly blessed, and for thy troubles thou shalt be forever forgiven of thy sins, and thou perhaps shalt also receive untold horrifying injuries for which Aperture Science Innovators is in no way responsible except legally."

By the way, should have mentioned, by the Bible I mean the legal document you just signed. Thought I'd throw in some flowery language to spice things up a bit.

Father Cave, we're done here.

--------------------

The Cathedral and the Crypt doth contain no fanciful elements, and as such thou must seek the door to salvation via only the use of thine gateway contraption as well as the cunning and swiftness that hast been bestowed upon thine mind.

Difficulty: Thou shalt not fear, for although thou walk the path of dread and danger, thou shalt receive guidance from on high, and shalt find salvation with ease. (Easy)

Refreshingly easy (if you're familiar with no elements techniques).

Semi-blindrun (at least 4 years since I've played, took a break starting from late 2019)

Nice to see you do your own “No Elements”-style chamber. It might actually be harder than all of the ones in the main series, or at least most of them. Love the BEE2 aesthetic as well. I’m tempted to say it’s at least better than anything in the No Elements series - definitely borrows some mechanics but wraps them in a very appealing skin. (Not to say the No Elements series is bad or anything - they’re great puzzles, in fact, and I highly recommend checking it out to anyone who hasn’t played it before as it features maps from some of the greats: Mevious, Azorae, and Gigopler. Haven’t checked out any of Juggler’s other puzzles but considering how good their two contributions were I’m sure they’re a great mapmaker as well.)

Depending on how you execute some of the moves the physics may be a little wonky so some experimentation is needed. In particular, you must be sure not to JUMP into some portals. There’s at least one move that’s a little wonky in this one too - such is the nature of slightly more advanced no-elements puzzles however.

Also like how the final move was hidden in plain sight.

Difficulty: 4/10
Design: 9.5/10
Enjoyed: 8/10

Clever, but last move is flawed, I can't pull it off and bonked the ceiling after the ceiling portal deal from what I see had I have a relief surface on the floor of main hall or the Exit being moved closer I could landed but as it stands, since popping out have me always staring upward it took a while just to get bead on which direction to fire last portal.

Nice challenge. And not as easy as you seem to think.

My first time playing a 'no elements' map. I quite like the solution to this one plus it is fun to execute. I did solve this one almost immediately but still enjoyed it anyway :ninjavictory:
