Similar to my VEP for Age of Wonders III, this is a collection of mods intended for people just starting out with (or returning to) Starpoint Gemini: Warlords, or those who simply would prefer to avoid the hassle of vetting individual mods for compatibility and balance impact. All included mods can be loaded without conflict and are intended for use in the vanilla campaign / freeroam scenarios. This collection includes a variety of aesthetic improvements, customization options and gameplay tweaks but is not intended to dramatically alter game balance.

I tend to restart a lot, so I haven't progressed far enough to evaluate the impact of Aseron's Carriers Reduxed mod. It seems to rather-substantially improve carriers, more than doubling the size of fighter complements through changes to base hangar capacity and the related perks. I will say that the mod is 100% compatible with the rest of the pack, as I'm currently playing with it. That said, it may be too major of a balance change for a collection intended for newer players who would like a "pick up and play" starter pack.

Happy to take suggestions / requests for additional mods to include.

Note that I have not included a music pack, as the game will only allow one to play and the choice will be mostly driven by personal preference. My recommendations include the following:

The Rebel Galaxy pack (https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=804434860) has some good tunes--all credit to the developers of that excellent game, of course--but I don't believe the current iteration of the mod gets the levels right. I recommend setting your music volume option very low if you intend to use it.
