Cambells Bay

Description
Welcome to the Cambells Bay region. A wild landscape of steep rugged mountains, ocean battered cliffs and thick old growth pine forests. The region has seen little in the way of urban development with the most notable exceptions being the road and rail link through the valley. Hidden in the forests and mountain slopes are ancient ruins dating back thousands of years, prime candidates for park centerpieces.

9 Tile players:

Your buildable area covers the vast majority of the valley flatlands as well as the central ranges ocean facing slopes. With the regions road infrastructure limited, your towns and cities will rely heavily on the railroad for the bulk of heavy freight traffic and commuter services as well as the bay.

As far as economy is concerned, the cold coastal climate and dense forests leave little in the way of agriculture. Luckily the forests are rich in valuable old growth timbers and the hillsides hide vast mineral wealth.

81 Tile players:

Your options are expanded to include the grasslands on the leeward side of the central ranges, of cause this means conquering the the mountains that sit between you and the fertile, open plains beyond.

Good luck.

Yes, Mass Transit should be the issue. I'm patching it out currently.

There don't seem to be any incoming or outgoing connections for me. I don't have Mass Transit, however, so I think that's related to the issue.
