Micromanaged Bureaucracy

Descripción
Not a fan of sectors? Me neither. But most of the mods out there seem to address the problem with all the subtlety of a sledgehammer made of neon green bricks. The planet cap is a useful mechanism for progression. It's just a little too tight for those of us who don't like AI playing with our carefully crafted worlds. So this mod just bumps up the values some, across the board.

Initial cap: 3 -> 5
Cap increasing techs: 1 -> 3 each, including repeating.
Efficient bureaucracy/Divided Attention civics: 2 -> 5
Expansion Tradition finisher: 2 -> 6
Imperial Prerogative ascension perk: 5 -> 12

Requires Utopia. Look for the Lite version for a DLC-free form.

So, 2.2 completely changed the systems behind this mod, so I'm going to need to take some time to evaluate how, or if, to update it. Until then, happy stellarising!

@mzilli Thanks! should be fixed now. They changed the tests for hive-mind civics for some reason. Matches up now.

Found a bug: the "Divided Attention" civic can be chosen by non-Hive Mind Empires when this mod is activated.

Update pushed. Would kill for an easier way to update when it's just a version number change.

will this be updated again?

Just did. Forgot about the version change. As far as i can tell there's no conflicts, but let me know if anything crops up!

Oh yeah, but he only plays as a fanatic militarist. :hammerheadsnark:

'with all the subtlety of a sledgehammer made of neon green bricks.'

I didn't know Shao Khan played Stellaris. Hmm.

Yes. I started using it partway through a save myself. I don't know quite what happens if you remove it during a playthrough though... Probably just can't colonize until you get your planet count under the cap again. :conwayshrug:
