Installing the backgrounds with gcfscape:

1. Aquire Gcfscape [http://nemesis.thewavelength.net/?p=26] (a useful tool for extracting VPK files) If you already have gcfscape skip this step.

2. Locate the file in SteamLibrary > Steamapps > Common > Left 4 Dead 2 > left4dead2 > addons > workshop. (it should be named 938451931).

3. Right click the VPK file and open with gcfscape, and extract the extract me folder. Make sure you extract the .bik files somewhere easy to find.

4. Remove the original l4d2_background01-05 .bik files in the Left 4 Dead 2 media folder located in SteamLibrary > Steamapps > Common > Left 4 Dead 2 > left4dead2 > Media. You'll want to keep these in a safe place.

5. Move the extracted files to the Left 4 Dead 2 media folder in SteamLibrary > Steamapps > Common > Left 4 Dead 2 > left4dead2 > Media.
