D.A.A. - Template - Austrialia

Description
This is A Working D.A.A. template for Austrialia.


This senario was made by me and codes and scripts for D.A.A. were created by PennyFour. (All PBO's, containing custons sounds, and content for this to work are his property). Map made by Aussie and all map credits to him for making the Austrailia map.


Now this isn't a totally finished 100% map but this can serve as a good demonstration of using mulitiple airpoirts at once.

Right now the map has the viewing distance locked. soon I'll add in TAW viewing script. I recommend probably enabling MCC for viewing distance pleasure.


Notes on whats already done.

Most airports are used (but not completed yet)

Only aircraft cat. are Mil, , civ, and Com. (Planned on adding more.)

civ, blufor, Opfor spawns along with player driveable cars (current civ spawn cars) and player planes (all factions have 1 plane.)

Common issues but maybe could be fixed:

The map is quite large and someimes the planes will time out (to knowledge max is 2 minutes.) So expect Prop based planes to probably despawn in air so if you ride in a prop plane, bring a parachute.

Issues that can't be fixed:

Apex is required since the map Austrailia has Apex buildings. unless Aussie built it in to the pbo. for the time being, Apex is required.

Recommended viewing distance enhancements( could improve performance but have long viewing distance:

This Map is a Prelude for my next project in trying to make ambient life for arma. So here is the current idea. Have a sandbox map with the Apex criminal gang, the apex cops, buses, cars, civs everywhere, but at the same time not destroying your computer. not to forget buses. DAA will be a big help in some reguards of seek and destroy helis for cops. and the north end of the map will have enemy cars/ and helis.


IMPORTANT NOTE:

So its been a while and apparently the creator of austrailia has remoeved the map off of work shop and idk how the updates to the map affect the DAA. I'll eventualy fix it but here is the link to arma holic.

i left debug on to show that planes are spawning

keats. thanks to ensure the senario works. the debug box is there from the game logic saying true to show debug. the only way to make it go away is to put the map senario in the eden editor. if you go to the mod folder and you will find a instructional pdf to take it away

Hi, It plays nicely for me. I can load and play the senario OK. I have what looks like a daa debugg box on the right side of my screen. Is there any way to get rid of this?
