Description
Update 11.06.2017:

This is a config-rework for different vehicles, planes and boats of A3. It has the target to create a better balance for those vehicle in regard of:
- fuel consumption
- capacity
- damage handling
- drive behavior
- terrain usability
- inventory sizes

Unfortunatelly Arma is not very well balanced in these areas e.g. a Prowler can carry more stuff then a Tempest. The KamaZ has a larger inventory then the HEMTT etc. Also the terrain usability of the cars is not very fitting... you should not be able to drive with a SUV through wild field at 200 km/h... we tried to rebalance those things.

It also adds a lot of new skins for some civil versions of military trucks, helis etc.
The mod has been created for the former Distrikt 41-LifeMod, that went down. We decided to make our config-rework public to give others the abbility to use them.

Excellent thank you. ACE and the Realistic Driving Terrains mod seem to have done a lot of this more recently, but those are all features I would love to see.

Have you tried it at all recently? I've puttered around and it feels good, but that could be ACE and the driving mod, as I said.

Basically this (roughly translated from above), although i am not sure if any of this still works without a lot of changes since its 4 years old:
- Adjustment of capacities (no more jeeps that have more volume than a truck)
- Increasing gasoline consumption (so that gas stations are visited more often)
- Adjustment of driving behavior (braking distance, acceleration etc)
- D41 weight system (loaded vehicles are slower and more sluggish)
- Division of vehicles into individual classnames sorted by skins (for easier store integration)
- Adjustment of speeds (high capacity vehicles are slower than small vehicles)
- Terrain modifiers (sports cars are not good when driving offroad)
- Boats sped up a bit and made more stable (no explosion on slight collision with quay wall)
- Explosion removed from all vehicles (except tankers and planes/helicopters, cars only burn out)
- Extension and integration of various own skins (police, gang colors, color variants for trucks)
