@Shampo: it works for 1.44, trust me. I always check if the game dev is changing the files in any way, and I can gurantee, that this mod (even without updates), is still working fine. You have to be careful if you use other mods, that also have a env_data.sii file inside them. If their mod has a higher priority than mine, then my mod is overwritten and not working.

It seems that this mod isn't working on 1.44, would you consider updating it? It's definitely a total game changer for me, such a big improvement to have those long and chill night rides.

Great work on this mod... I've been using it for a while and it is a significant improvement over vanila ETS2's night time. Consequently it feels more like driving in the middle of nowhere once you leave the lights of the highways behind.

these are different versions, they are not compatible.

depeinding on how old the mod is, the only change I can think of in the last few years was just the change from .sii to .sui files with no internal changes.

I wonder if that's how the old Polar mod did it. I'm not new to modding, so maybe I can figure something out. I just haven't modded much for ETS2/ATS in a long time.

A way would be to change every coordinate to be a lot closer to the north pole. That would grant you eternal daylight
