Cutlass class Corvette Refit

A small planetary defense class, the Cutlass was hampered by being, among other things, small, one manned, and lacking in any oxygen generators. Introduced before Jump Drive, and too small to be retrofitted, they were regarded as inferior ships. However, some were refitted with oxygen generators and gravety units, and served as Planetary Defense ships, where jump drives were not needed. However, lacking shields, or the very least real armor, they only severd for 5 years before being decomissioned and sold as surplus. they became more popular there, as the lack of a jump drive, and a healthy cargo capacity, allowed them to be used as haulers, from planets to nearby colonies.
