Its not luck. Long time ago this mod really did some things that conflicted with FU, But that was fixed long time ago, But as you see, 5 years is not enough for Sayter and FU team.

Hey! thanks for replying! Sayter has this on a list of banned mods and was trying to ask because they refuse to give support for mods on a list of "Incompatable" mods which evidently seem to make universe generation more difficult to find planets but even tho i never had this issue they kept telling me to remove it. I refuse to remove something as helpful as this. At least I know that its more a luck issue in their testing than a real issue if thats true.

This mod does touch cocpit lua file, but it doesn't have capacity to alter systems. It only messes a bit with display layer of cockpit. If this mod was the culprit then removing it would cause "missing" planets to appear.

According to sayter your mod edits cockpit lua which causes certian frackin universe planets to be rarer than they are supposed to or just simply not spawn. Is this still editing that in a way that would present a problem for that mod or is it no longer doing that edit in a harmful way? I also heard from other mod users that playing with system edits that it causes problems for them too like arcana or maple32...?

Shouldn't yeah, but it does for some reason. Altho it's still kinda hit or miss here and there sometimes as occasionally i'll get stuck encounters that can't despawn for one reason or another every so often. Luckily the encounters only start to appear after you go to that solar system, regardless of if you do it normally, or go to one of the prescanned planets. It's.... weird.

So you are saying that prescanning that I do causes encounters to spawn like crazy? Weird, that shouldn't happen.
Timtee [CVHN] 3 Jun, 2022 @ 1:29pm
Hmmm... Well it seems to be so, especially given that, upon uninstalling it, and going to further new solar systems, the encounters aren't spawning as crazily. (tho some do still get stuck for some reason.) So part of most likely was a result of the prescanning of literally every solar system you click on in the navigation causing some form of error with the encounters. (tbh i don't even bother with the encounters tho, but they just lag my game, and if I could find a way to turn them off entirely across all the mods that have them, I'd like gladly do so because well... yeah.)

This is not the goal of this mod. This mod is simple universe searcher that can be used to find your perfect planet.
From what I remember I don't even read those encounters from api in the first case, so I'm certain that my mod is not the cause of your problem.

I ask this now, despite how old of a mod this is, and as unlikely as it would be ultimately, Would it be feasible for this mod to cause non-despawning spacial encounters that should naturally despawn regardless? (If not... then it'd be great to find a mod that can just ensure that they despawn always no matter what.) because my god, I have a problem with them just infinite spawning and causing me lag.

This mod is compatible with 1.4 (tested without FU)
