I have used his track layout and just changed the background so it will now display album art. I have used a 3x3 grid based layout as I found that looks best. Using just one whole image is too big and wraps around too much so that you can't see the detail in the image clearly and while using more than a 3x3 grid (say 5x5 etc) does work, this does result in the images becoming smaller and smaller making seeing any detail harder and harder.

I really like Yishai's track design and use of colors and find this works well when album art's displayed. I wanted to create a skin that uses album art but unlike some of the other similar skins on the workshop, I didn't want it co change the track or block colors based on the album art color. I found this oten resulted in making it difficult to distinguish between block colors and greys, particularly with more dark-looking album art.

I also edited the original Color Ribbon skin to remove some of the background effects as they tended to wash out the album artwork and alter the color of the image and so I wanted a clean image with just the track and blocks using the original skin.

As you can see, with some album art you can get some interesting results, especially if the artwork has a pattern and an unbroken one at that, this can result in the whole background looking like one big pattern. But because I haven't altered the main track skin, you can still easily see the blocks and I think both together work really well.

I want to say thanks to Yishai because he really helped me with my skinning issues and getting the album art to work well and look right. I hope he doesn't mind me using his skin in my version.
