Poseidon-Class Cruiser

An inelegant, but irresistably deadly brute of a ship, the Poseidon is the heavy hitter of the fleet. Although, like most other warships made by Ninja Aerospace, it is lightly armored, it still carries a respectable payload of kinetic weapons and its main selling point, a massive nuclear arsenal.

Armor: Spaced composite containing a total of 9.5 mm aramid fiber, 2 cm siligel, and 2 mm UHMWPE fiber. Heavily sloped, because otherwise it would be pitiful.

Ordnance:
--200x Whirlwind ER nuclear missile: The Whirlwind is simply one of the most deadly missiles in the solar system. Its LOX-methane engine propels a 690 kt warhead at 4.90 km/s (with drop tanks). On approach, its armor (8 mm aramid fiber over 1.7 cm siligel) and slim profile make it all but immune to interception by lasers or kinetics, and its impressive yield makes short work of most targets.
--16x Sirius nuclear missile: In case you needed more boom than the Whirlwind provides, the massive Sirius nuke has you covered. It carries a 10.3 Mt warhead atop a methane NTR with 5.58 km/s dV. Like the Whirlwind, it is well armored (2 cm aramid fiber over 1 cm siligel). Its main purpose is to be launched alone into missile and drone swarms as an anti-munition weapon, but nothing's stopping you from using it against ships.

Kinetic:
--1x 100 MW 9.8mm railgun "Sidewinder": A hefty main gun mounted in a well-armored (30.0 cm aramid) nose turret, the Sidewinder fires 15 g slugs at 10.1 km/s and is effective against pretty much everything.
--6x 6 MW 6.2mm railgun "Needler": An old but respecable point defence turret, the needler fires 5 g slugs at 7.61 km/s. It works well enough against missiles and drones, but performs poorly against heavier armor.
--28x 13mm machine gun: A knife-fighting combustion gun firing 10 g steel bullets at 1.78 km/s. Mostly there because the crew would get bored without a ton of turrets to maintain.
